We needed some face coverings, because we were tired of only having a couple and always forgetting them. We ended up with a package of white Hanes brand face coverings, so we would have enough masks to go around. Colton suggested "why don't we tie dye these", and our newest project was born in that moment. We start by soaking them for 24 hours, to open the fibers to take the dye better. Then we dye them 1 at a time, so each mask has it's own unique "personality". We've been selling them on the Specks on the Beach Facebook page, and the response has been amazing! Each mask comes out as it's own unique work of art. Our customers have been all smiles, even though you can't see them behind their awesome tie-dye mask!
